Halloween Fun

Kendra was planning to be a cowgirl for Halloween, until one of our friends called and asked us if we wanted to borrow a gorgeous Sleeping Beauty costume she had made. Once Kendra saw it and had tried it on there was no question, she was going to be Sleeping Beauty! But she still wanted a chance to wear her cowgirl costume, so she wore it to a local pumpkin patch.

We carved pumpkins with Mom and Gary for our Family Home Evening the Monday before Halloween. Who knew Gary was a pumpkin carver until he surprised Kendra with a special pumpkin he had carved for Halloween. The top was carved out in the shape of a bat, so when it was lit and the top was off, there was a bat on the ceiling!

Kendra wore her costume every chance she got, so she wore it to her school carnival, Kindergarten Halloween party, and or course trick or treating! She was adorable! Geri and Kathy had special Halloween treats for Kendra. But little did they know, they bought the same ones without knowing it! A huge Halloween sucker, Pez candy dispenser, and Pop Rock candy! Too funny! What a fun Halloween!
