What I forgot!

There are quite a few things I have forgotten over the last six years about having a newborn. Here are just a few: the sweet baby noises (cooing, yawns, sneezes,...), how you can love someone so instantly, the smell of a freshly bathed baby, the smell of newborn poop, all the crazy facial expressions, crossed eyes, gassy smiles, the diapers (240 in less than a month!), how many wipes it takes to change a diaper, the laundry, how quiet and sweet three in the morning can be, how tired you feel even when you have a great baby, tiny and fresh from heaven, how quickly you replace the batteries for the bouncer seat, the generosity and kindness of others (i.e. gifts, cards, congrats, willingness to help out), how perfect strangers are intrigued with your baby, to have them tell you how adorable your baby is, how great Scott looks holding a baby, and being reminded how great it is to be a mother!


There are some things I've never experience because I've never had two children. The sweetest is seeing how completely in love Kendra is with her sis! She couldn't love her more! She loves to talk to her, bathe her, dress her, kiss her, hold her, change her diaper (sometimes), etc, etc. Kendra wants to be near her every minute. I believe one of the greatest blessing you can give your child is a sibling! Here are some of my favorite pics of Kendra holding Kristen.
